Facebook - Software Engineer 02/2020-03/2019

  • Work at Facebook via Crystal Equation. Participate in building and maintaining data pipeline management center with Javascript, React, GraphQL, EntSchema and tested by Jest. More than 11,000 data pipelines are monitored through this new developed tool and help to clean SLA and reduce incident management time by 40%
  • Designed, implemented and test chatbot auto self-service to provide a real-time alerting for monitored pipeline instance information and automates failures escalation to pipeline owners, which delivers efficiency by reducing 15% customer escalation support
  • Implement machine learning framework of customer escalation and task automation. Design data pipeline flow and data warehouse schema. Daily batch process data by utilizing ETL skills to process and log data by FBLogger, Airflow and Presto SQL

  • Automated data pipeline and Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) from 6 data sources in periodic intervals
  • Utilize Spark ML to implement Logistic Regression, Random Forest, and Gradient Boosting (best precision: 86%) and visualized the comparing effectiveness by Heat Map via Tableau
